Topics of Interest
We invite paper submissions and contribution proposals for the Workshop on AI-Driven Workforce and Business Development (AIWorks), which will be held in conjunction with ICDM 2025, a premier international conference on data mining, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The AIWorks workshop aims to explore the complex interplay between AI innovation, workforce transformation, and business sustainability. We welcome contributions from researchers, educators, policymakers, and industry professionals that address both theoretical and practical challenges associated with the changing nature of work and business in an AI-driven world.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Dynamics of skill and task demand forecasting
- AI-driven upskilling and reskilling strategies
- AI-enabled labor market matching platforms
- Measuring AI’s productivity gains versus job displacement
- Corporate adoption and ROI of AI innovations
- Human-machine collaboration models in organizations
- The evolving role of non-technical skills in the AI era
- AI in curriculum redesign and pedagogical innovation
- Policy, governance, and ethical considerations in AI labor markets
Types of Contributions
- Full Paper (6–8 pages): Original research, case studies, or conceptual frameworks
- Short Paper (2–4 pages): Preliminary findings, position papers, or ongoing work
- Demo or Lightning Talk Proposal (1-page): Proposal description including the topic, proposed speakers, and discussion goals
Submission Guidelines
- All submissions must be written in English and follow the IEEE ICDM formatting guidelines
- Clearly indicate the type of contribution (e.g., full paper, short paper, panel proposal, etc.)
- Include the title, authors, affiliations, and abstract in your submission
